Application Support Engineer

As a key member of the Application Support team, you will be responsible for the monitoring, triaging and resolving application issues that arise for our customers.

  • Experience with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence) preferred
  • Methodical, thorough and pays attention to detail
  • Positive, encouraging and collaborative work style
  • Experience in the medical vertical a plus (not a requirement)
  • Need to be part of a 24x7 support team in shifts
  • Create periodic reports, update JIRA and Runbooks
  • Understand, Triage and resolve application issues
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing and data marts
  • Work experience in supporting incident calls
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Minimum Criteria

  • 4+ years supporting IT applications
  • 4+ years experience with ETL Tools such as Informatica or SSIS
  • 3+ years debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • SQL Server/Netezza experience a plus
